Additionally, you will learn the nature, symptoms, and treatment of heat stresses, as well as the precautions you should take to protect yourself against these stresses. You will hear some general first aid guidelines; however, any treatment-related information provided in this lesson does not constitute medical advice and is not a substitute for evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional.
No in-person skills evaluation is required for this course. It is presented as online-only. Upon successful completion of the online course, a Certificate of Online Training will be issued. The course is one credit per individual.
